Viggle social TV app offers real-world rewards for checking in to shows

Wow! The world has gone dual screen crazy.

A lot has happened since we worked up our first ipad dual screen app for a well known LA movie studio back in March 2011. It seems everyone is jostling to become THE platform for TV check in. What they seem to be missing for me is content or a real reason to use them over just using Twitter.

Rewards like this from Viggle are an interesting angle and I wonder how far behind this kind of mechanic Adpoints are? Surely stronger still would be a combined content/offers proposition.
